<p>Satyaprem Ki Katha reportedly made between Rs. 8.5 and Rs. 9 crore on Thursday, according a report on Boxofficeindia.com.</p>
<p>Satyaprem Ki Katha has sold 51,500 seats as of Wednesday at 10 p.m., according to film industry expert Sumit Kadel, making it “one of the best pre-sales for a mid-size film post pandemic.” The movie’s debut, however, is much lower than that of Kartik and Kiara’s smash 2022 movie Bhoot Bhulaiyaa 2, which debuted to a whopping Rs. 14 crore on day 1. Even so, it still outperforms Shehzada, Kartik’s most recent theatrical picture, which debuted to a disastrous Rs. 6 crore.</p>
<p>After their 2022 success Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Sajid Nadiadwala’s love movie reunites Kartik and Kiara. In order to avoid controversy, the movie’s original title, Satyanarayan Ki Katha, was changed to Satyaprem Ki Katha. The soundtrack of the movie, which has songs like Naseeb Se, Aaj Ke Baad, Pasoori Nu, and dance routines like Sun Sajni and Gujju Pataka, has been well received by the public.</p>
