Mahesh Tilekar, a well-known Marathi filmmaker renowned for movies like Gaon Tasa Changala, Ghar Grihasti, Ladi Godi, Chalta Hai Yaar, and One Room Kitchen, among others, leveled some severe accusations against Kareena Kapoor and Radhika Apte from Hindi movies, accusing them of abandoning their fans. In a lengthy social media post, Mahesh remembered a time when Kareena Kapoor declined to pose for a picture with an actor when she was traveling with his Maratha company eight years ago. Tilekar said that they have previously collaborated on projects together.
“Eight years ago, we were waiting in the check-in line at the airport when I noticed Kareena was standing next to one of the actresses from our program,” Mahesh Tilekar said in Marathi on his Instagram account a few days ago.
She approached Kareena Kapoor and said hello. She was disappointed when Kareena snubbed her attempts to take a photo with her. The actress did not bother to turn around to look at her, despite the fact that she had even contributed to one of Kareena Kapoor's well-known films.
He said, “These celebrities don't have any problems communicating with fans while advertising their OTT series or films, but they are incapable of behaving decently in other situations. Radhika Apte has said that she dislikes taking pictures and signing autographs for people. However, a few days ago, she was seen taking photographs with several well-known social media influencers to promote her Hindi flick.
Regarding her professional endeavors, Kareena Kapoor is now filming The Crew, a movie that also features Diljit Dosanjh, Tabu, and Kriti Sanon in the key roles. Alongside Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat, she will appear in Sujoy Ghosh's forthcoming movie, which is an adaptation of the novel The Devotion Of Suspect X. She also has the unnamed sequel from Hansal Mehta. In the OTT series Mrs. Undercover, Radhika Apte most recently appeared. She also portrayed a police officer in Monica, O My Darling! by Vasan Bala.
