Entrepreneur-producer-director Karan Johar is sharing advice on being on time on his social media while also working on the post-production of his forthcoming film, “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.”
On Monday, he posted a lengthy message along with the phrase “Punctuality” on his Instagram account.
He commented, “So… The wonderful thing about punctuality is that it doesn't require a natural talent, a degree, or even a parental or an employer's sanction,” venting about the casual attitude of individuals in the profession. It's NOT a skill that we pass on through the generations… It's just good manners, pure and simple. It's respect for other people's time, which demonstrates respect for them.
He said, “Landing up 15 minutes late without a murmur of an apology or an overcompensating happy visage reeks of entitlement and defensiveness,” drawing on a personal incident in which he was the target of a delayed arrival. 'On my way' message… Doesn't absolve you of responsibility either. “On my way,” So ??? You're not doing me any favours, honey, you're just supposed to be! And the lack of specifics in your reply to me is as vague as a Christopher Nolan movie.
KJo continued to sling sarcastic bombs throughout the message. The worst came next: “Oh, I forgot!!!! Why, Mr. President? Running a nation keeps you so busy, right? Then comes the perennial complaint about too much traffic. Are you a New Zealand resident? No, it's India… Baby, check the population's situation! We have a lot of people here. S
o, what should you do? LEAVE EARLY! The worst scenario is when they fail to show up and refuse to even send a note of apologies! This final group of repeat offenders must be permanently removed from your list,” he said.
